Arena Time Setup Guide: Profiles, Events, and First Week Habits

Configure Arena Time the right way — horses, events, notifications, and a first-week checklist for barrel racers.

Updated 2026-08-05

Set horse profiles first, confirm Barrel Racing and your other events are available, then log every run for one week before touching Pro features. Clean data beats fancy settings.

Profiles that won’t confuse you later

One profile per horse. Use the name you shout at the trailer. Add a photo if it helps kids pick the right horse on a shared phone.

Events you’ll actually use

Pin Barrel Racing and Pole Bending if those are your main classes. Custom events help for schooling patterns your club invented — don’t clutter the list with events you never enter.

First-week checklist

Day 1: three practice logs. Day 3: open history and note your current PB. Day 7: invite a barn friend to the friends leaderboard if you want accountability.

  • Horse profile
  • Event shortlist
  • Offline test at the arena
  • One Sunday review
